About Me

Hello! My name is Victoria Turner, and I am basically allergic to the outside (i.e., nature). I was diagnosed with many allergies at the age of five that I am still living with today. I was diagnosed with severe contact dermatitis when I was thirteen. I had no idea what caused my allergic reactions and why the symptoms differed depending on the allergen. As a result, I became fascinated by immunology and allergies relating to the skin and airways. This fascination led me to create this research project that allows people with all different levels of scientific background knowledge to understand and learn about the basis of allergies. My hope for this website is to help people understand what is happening to themselves or their loved ones.
